You know your school’s teachers, parents, and staff. You know your school’s unique needs. You know there is a PTA or booster meeting coming up that we should send a speaker to attend. YOU are our best chance at connecting with your school.

SCHOOL CAPTAINS ARE KEY TO

OUR SUCCESS.

This campaign is about showing our school pride.

Coming together as a school community to do the right

thing for our kids. Help us build that school spirit in your

school. We need two Captains from each school, and

for larger schools, we need several Captains to work

together. School Captains will coordinate efforts directly

with the levy Campaign.

​

Our Captains come from staff, parents, grandparents, teachers, administrators, school volunteers—anyone who is connected to your school. We anticipate a School Captain will need to spend a TOTAL of 7-10 hours between now and November.

​

WE NEED TO HAVE CAPTAINS FROM EVERY SCHOOL.

​

• Help to identify and recruit Vote Champions and volunteers to meet vote goals

• Distribute campaign information to school parents and staff and identify opportunities for the campaign to meet with parent groups

• Identify different groups/leaders within your schools

• Assist with Get out the Vote activities

​

We’ve set vote goals per building, and we need School

Captains to help us achieve those goals to win in November. 

All materials will be provided and you will have the full

support of the Campaign.
